It's a bummer when you can't bring your dog with you all day long. And the cat's not much for car rides, either. Teachers frown on hamsters visiting their classroom unless they are permanent residents, and horses, well, they have a hard time getting up the stairs of the bus.
So, here's the perfect solution.
Get your favorite animals embellished onto your jeans, and you are good to go! Not only will you find doors opening for you (doors to spaces that are off-limits for most pets), but you also won't have to worry about pet clean up (unless you do have the real thing with you, and in that case, don't forget to bring the poop bags!).
How does it work?
Collect a few photos of your pet (at least 3 but no more than 50), choose a favorite pair of jeans (preferably ones that fit), add an index card with your name/address/email/phone numbers, include a $10 deposit and deliver your materials to Twice Blessed Kids in Lake Orion.
I'll confirm receipt, review your photos, and we can discuss the design, delivery time, and final cost (beginning at $20, dependant upon intricacy and size).
Some other details -
- Designs are drawn directly onto the fabric with permanent ink. These designs will fade with repeated washings - this is normal wear and tear.
- Light colored denim works best. If the pair of jeans you supply is too dark, they will be bleached. Be prepared.

- If you would prefer a design featuring a generic animal, just ask. Same goes for custom patterning like paisleys, inspirational phrases or floral designs.
- Twice Blessed Kids in Lake Orion will have samples on display which are also available for purchase. If you see a sample you like but the size is wrong, don't fret - it's an easy fix! Make a note of the design style and the sample size so I know which pair you loved. Then we'll get a similar pair made up just for you.
